EQAO Assessments (Grades 3 & 6)

Assessment Overview

These assessments, developed by Ontario educators and assessment experts, are administered by the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) across all publicly funded schools in Ontario. The tests are based directly on expectations outlined in The Ontario Curriculum for reading, writing, and mathematics—skills your child has been working on throughout the school year. The sessions will be completed electronically using the EQAO e-assessment platform.

Our Approach

Please be assured that the purpose of EQAO is not to create stress, but to give a snapshot of your child's understanding and progress in key areas. The results do not impact your child's report card or final grade. Instead, they provide valuable feedback to help guide future learning. Individual student reports will be shared with families by EQAO in the fall.

A Tradition of Excellence

Al-Falah Islamic School is proud of its long-standing history of academic achievement. Our students consistently score well above the provincial average.

  • Ranked among the top elementary schools in Ontario.

  • Consistently achieving Level 3 and Level 4 (Exceeding Provincial Standards).

  • Recognized for excellence in both Literacy and Mathematics.

Please be assured that while we maintain high standards, the purpose of EQAO is to give a snapshot of your child's progress. The results do not impact your child's report card or final grade. I
